KTM FAITH LESSONS

Grace to you kingdom citizens and royal priests of the Most High!
The Kingdom of God is our inheritance for which Jesus came to give via the Father’s will. Most people are postponing the kingdom until they get to heaven. They who do such things are not honoring God. They are indeed grieving the Holy Spirit and don’t even know it. What we postpone will never be appropriated and we could miss out on our harvest because of failure to recognize it.
“The Law and the Prophets continued until John came: from that time the Good News of the Kingdom of God has been spreading, and all classes have been forcing their way into it.” Luke 16:16
- Weymouth Bible
Jesus said that the law and the prophets continued to be preached until John the Baptist, but from that time on the kingdom of God is preached. I am not sure if you noticed but that would include our present time and even after that. So if the church we attend is not preaching the kingdom of God we may want to rethink where to attend meetings seeing how we must obey the Lord if we say you love Him.
“And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.” Matt. 17:1-5
In the above passage we see the actual changing of the guard between the law and the prophets and the kingdom of God. Moses represents the law and Elias or Elijah, in our language, represents the prophets. Jesus represents the door to the Kingdom and the king Himself. If we are to use our faith for kingdom life we must first yield to what our king says about it. Faith can not be exercised where the will of God is not known and if we have failed to acknowledge the facts about the kingdom of God then faith will more than likely be abused. Faith must be in the King of the kingdom and the blessings will take care of themselves. Remember that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of the things not seen. God the Father is the source of all things so faith in Him is the substance of the things hoped for. In fact the word Father is the word source. Jesus told us to call God our source.
“Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.” Acts 3:24-25 (KJV)
Now the kingdom of God should be preached so that people can actually partake of what the prophets saw. Jesus tells us as children of Abraham that we have a right (civil) as citizens of heaven to all the promises of God. He gives us practical concepts to use right here on earth to access this kingdom government. Faith is that tool, currency or power we are to use to engage the kingdom. He showed us over and over how that, by faith, we can access the power to reign in life despite the form of government we might be living in. If we would only listen and adhere to what is being said by the king then we could avoid the stress of worrying whether God will keep His Word or not. We should know what His hands are doing because we know Him.
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” Matt 7:7-11
In the verse above we see that Jesus is showing us how to use our faith. He tells us that everyone who will ask, seek and knock will get results but then He shows us the nature of His source. He shows us that the Father is not out to trick us. He is not trying to show us who’s boss. He is showing us that God will give us exactly what we ask for but that He might send us to seek knowledge first or use our courage to step through the doors of opportunity or in fact use all three methods. I have found that all three have been necessary most of the time. You will always win by doing what our King has said to do.
“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Cor. 4:18
What are we to do in the meantime? We are to look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Jesus looked to the resurrection from the dead while He was going toward the cross for our sins so that we might, with joy, engage the kingdom. Faith is 24/7 and 365! We can access it at anytime for free. When I say free--I mean cash can not buy faith. Faith is given to everyone but it is only on the believer. Money may run out but faith is always available and inexhaustible. It may cost you to increase in learning. It may cost you to use your courage at the right place and the right time but if you are willing to be in an uncomfortable place to be in the will of God then you will see all things working together for your good because you love God and because you are the called according to His purpose.
Jesus says that the process of faith is first the planting of the seed then it's the waiting time. First the blade comes up and that can be exciting within itself. The blade must be nurtured and protected. It is the small evidence that the process is working. This should be expected and we should be looking for it. It is different for everyone because everyone is different but you can recall other’s testimonies to help you glean more faith-food to get you through the blade stage. Notice that we do the planting. If you do not want oranges then don’t plant orange seeds. Plant the desired seed. That’s what you are passionate about. That’s the seed you are going to stand through adversity for. That’s the seed that you are willing to be fully persuaded that whatever comes I will maintain my stand for the complete answer. No compromising here. You are deciding that you will not be distressed, in despair, nor forsaken and not destroyed. You know that you have committed this to the Lord and fully expect to see your hope manifested.
Jesus said that when anyone hears the Word of the Kingdom and understands it not then comes the wicked one comes to take away that which was sown. That means that wisdom dictates that we learn more and more about kingdom government and living so we can repeal the efforts of the enemy from trying to make stick to us what we do not want or need. We will need to become established in some things to help us when the storms of life come to snatch the Word of faith from our hearts. We have planted our seed and now it’s the waiting time. You should then be getting ready to put in the sickle when the full corn in the ear arrives.
You can’t do that if you fail to get established on the Word, the Name, the Blood, the Spirit, the Kingdom, the Covenant and the Blessing. You just can’t ask for things from the government of God and not expect to walk in the laws that govern that kingdom. That’s why Jesus said to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all the things you are praying for will be added to you without fail or toil because God knows you have need of those things. Walking by faith and not by sight is not for the faint of heart but it is not complicated when you know what the bible is about. Trying to understand faith without knowledge of the King, His family and His will to expand His kingdom will lead you to abuse of faith and result in depression and much anxiety. Be willing to learn and adhere to The Word of the kingdom and things that were confusing to you will start clearing up. Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water which is the Word. Through Jesus, we who are citizens, have access by one Spirit to the Father and the Father gives us the kingdom as our inheritance. I like what Paul says……...
“But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ." 2 Thes. 2:13-14
Through sanctification and the belief of the truth we are called by the gospel of the kingdom to the obtaining of the King Jesus our Lord! The Spirit sets us apart for a specific purpose and now we are to use our faith for the grace to reign in His kingdom in this world and the world to come! Flow.
